Web Forecast:

• Provides suppliers and subcons full access to their forecasts, which improves efficiency by decreasing the number of calls between suppliers/subcons and Intel.
• Provides easy access to a suite of forecasting and response tools for three distinct business processes at Intel:
  • PRF-RTF (Product Requirements Forecast – Response To Forecast): This is a process where the forecasted build plan requirements are sent to Intel’s supplier and the supplier responds back with its commitment to support that forecast.
  • MAR: Materials Auto Replenishment (This includes Automated Replenishment Method (ARM), ReOrder Point (ROP), Vendor Response System (VRS), and Consignment.
• Provides suppliers and subcons with forecast reports, which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and include information such as forecasted requirements, material information, delivery information, and supplier/subcon information.
• Alerts suppliers/subcons to remit a response to Intel's forecast online.
• Reduces paperwork, fax, and email communications.
• Moves Intel closer toward its goal of becoming a 100% e-Corporation.
