Data Flow

This data flow shows how Intel sends a forecast out to its trading partners via Web Forecast, the 4A1 PIP (for PRF-RTF), and the 4A3 PIP (for MAR).

The trading partner receives the forecast and responds back to Intel with commits against the forecast using the Web Forecast application and/or the 4A5 PIP.

Some Intel business groups also provide a Confirmation, an agreed-upon, revised forecast which Intel sends to a sub-con.  Confirmations do not require another response from the trading partner.
